PRS Private Stock 12596 Hollowbody I 24 Piezo Quilted Walnut/Swamp Ash (696)

The PRS Private Stock #12596 Hollowbody I Piezo 24 Fret combines a striking Quilted Walnut top with Swamp Ash middle and back woods, finished in Natural with a smoked burst under a high-gloss nitro finish. A roasted Curly Maple neck uses the Pattern carve and is paired with a Ziricote fingerboard and matching Ziricote headstock veneer. Black Mother of Pearl bird inlays outlined in Gold Mother of Pearl, matching Gold Mother of Pearl side dots, and a Black Mother of Pearl Private Stock Eagle with Gold Mother of Pearl outline add distinctive Private Stock detailing.

A pair of McCarty III pickups is combined with the PRS Piezo system, controlled by one volume, one tone, and a 3-way toggle. Hardware includes a PRS Adjustable Stoptail Piezo bridge, Phase III set-screw locking tuners with wing buttons, Smoked Black/Gold hardware, and a Ziricote truss rod cover.

The woods for this guitar were selected at the PRS factory, by PRS Sales Manager Brandon Bowlds. The quilted Walnut top was one of only two tops available with this figure (we got both!). We've never seen walnut with this kind of quilt figure before!
