Heavy Electronics Descend

The Descend by Heavy Electronics represents an unprecedented tool for guitarists that has been overlooked for years.  The Descend offers its user a calculated reduction of volume at the tap of the switch.  However, the Descend also features unique characteristics that protect the core tone of your guitar.  Unlike the volume knob on your guitar or a traditional volume pedal, the Descend features a proprietary circuit that allows the user to decrease volume without necessarily altering tone characteristics.  The 3-way voicing function provides options that range from a treble increase to a minimal treble decrease.  Moreover, these tone profiles can also be accessed with very little volume reduction allowing the descend to function solely as a three way filter.  If you play an overdriven amplifier, you know that if your gain settings are high enough there really is no such thing as a clean boost.  Boosts only increase output of the guitar and that can only make the amp throw more dirt.  For the first time, the Descend will offer a legitimate clean channel to all the gain fans out there.  Moreover, having a volume button rather than a rocking pedal provides a level of accuracy few volume pedals users have previous experienced.  Often, guitarists turn down the amp and use gain boosting pedals to emphasize dynamics, the Descend allows your amp to do the work and puts your overdrive tone back where it belongs (neck deep in 12AX7s).  Too often as guitarists, we ask constantly for more and more when our dynamics depend on both increases and decreases in volume.  Use the Descend and promote the integrity and the emotion of your dynamics.
